Vehicle display, as a large segment of the current market, has received special attention in recent years. Every year, manufacturers will display related products.From the products or exhibits launched by manufacturers in recent years, we can see that the car display market has also undergone great changes.The beginning is a proper central control screen, and then the car display gradually spread to the car instrument, head display, window, etc,Its appearance also appeared the transformation, the large size, the curved surface, the abnormal shape, the interior decoration and so on, the resolution is getting higher and higher,What's interesting is that the latest 5G and autonomous driving technologies are likely to push the on-board display up the technological level.

Data from the car market is also doing well. According to the statistics of IHS, the market research institute, the global vehicle panel shipments in 2018 were 161 million, an annual increase of 9.4%, among which, the central control display panel is the largest application market, with shipments of 78.3 million, the dashboard display is 60.8 million tablets and 22.4 million tablets for other applications.

Visionox Flexible screen concept car application¡ª¡ªLimitless¡Þ

This vehicle application from Visionox cleverly utilizes the shape and display characteristics of flexible AMOLED screen to present a new application scene of the future interior space, and makes new breakthroughs in safety, comfort and human-vehicle interaction. At the exhibition site, the car with the flexible screen of Visionox attracted quite a lot of visitors.

It is understood that from the layout of flexible on-board display in 2016 to the commercial landing now, Visionox on the one hand to enhance the independent innovation research of flexible on-board display, has released two innovative applications of flexible on-board display, and the above is the latest one.

The other is the world's first mass-produced blind spot visualized a-pillar U, launched at the Shanghai auto show in April.  Visionox exclusively supplies flexible AMOLED screens for its transparent a-pilla.This is the first time that the domestic AMOLED flexible screen has been released in mass production vehicles, marking that the application of flexible on-board display has been out of the concept stage and has been commercialized.

Visionox said, In the future, we will rely on the technological innovation advantages in the field of flexible AMOLED to further develop the application scenarios of flexible on-board display and help the reform and upgrading of on-board display in the future.

Without changing the current screen display size , the curved form is more portable and has more usage scenarios. Today, it is the flexible display screen that moves from the sample stage to the production stage. This time Tianma exhibits many flexible products.

At the exhibition TIANMA as previously disclosed, demonstrated the 7.4-inch Foldable WQHD AMOLED display and the 13.3 inch AMOLED display,The former is an inward-folding display screen, with a bending radius of 3 mm and a bending Angle of 0~180¡ã. The 21:9 special-shaped comprehensive screen display has a resolution up to 3360x1440 (493 PPI), which can meet various bending needs of customers.The latter is a medium sized OLED product with a resolution of 1920x1080. It is light and thin in shape and adopts many advanced technologies in the industry in terms of design and technology. Its ultra-short response time, ultra-high contrast, ultra-low reflectivity, 100%NTSC ultra-wide gamut, Real RGB pixel array and other advantages make it widely used in the field of ultra-book display, vehicle display and other fields.

And in the vehicle display, Tianma also brought a number of vehicle display solutions.

8.8inch e-mirror from Tianma adopts a new panel design, realizing ultra-narrow frame, -40¡æ-95¡æ wide temperature, high brightness display and other characteristics, at the same time, Through dimming glass, the function of rearview mirror and streaming media can be switched freely.

To my surprise, MANTIX also participate the DISPLAY CHINA expo this year. MANTIX  exhibits a metal oxide technology used in mobile phones, televisions and other applications. The technology was developed by sharp in Japan.

 Metal Oxide Technology

 Metal oxide technology has the characteristics of high electron mobility (about 30 ~ 50 times of a-si) and low leakage current (about 10-12a). Therefore, it has excellent performance in power consumption, resolution and penetration rate. In the near future, metal oxides can be used in the production and development of AMOLED and flexible screens due to their high electron mobility and low temperature process characteristics

It is said that this is a domestic rare metal oxide small size product,  MANTIX has  mass produced it this year, power consumption is very energy-saving, may be able to solve the problem of insufficient battery life in the future.

In addition, MANTIX also showed the on-board display, ultra-thin flexible screen, future mobile phone screen and so on.

TFT-LCD Technology

Although LCD technology is quite mature, but that does not prevent the industry from further innovation in the existing technology. At present, improving resolution and high cost performance ratio is the inevitable direction of display industry development. More exquisite picture quality and clearer details can bring more real visual experience to the audience, and with high cost performance ratio, LCD products still become the only choice for ordinary consumers. At present, 4K TV has replaced most 2K TV and become the mainstream product of Chinese color TV market. In recent years, under the support of policies, UHD TV video industry has been developing vigorously. 4K/8K TV is drawing the popularity tide, and 8K(7680¡Á4320) UHD TV is surging, becoming an important development trend of color TV industry.

As a domestic industry giant, this exhibition certainly not without BOE. 

This time BOE introduced a BD Cell display, which is said to be a new breakthrough in tft-lcd technology, comparable to OLED,  a key technology of BOE this year

BD CELL DSIPLAY Interactive experience 

By adopting the double-layer Cell design of black and white and color, as well as pixel partitioning technology and micron ultra-fine light control technology, BD Cell display display contrast can reach millions of levels, dark tone performance is more profound.Compared with OLED display in the field, BD Cell display screen has rich details of low-grayscale screen, and its power consumption is 40% lower than that of OLED display screen of the same size, with extremely powerful color performance and ultra-hd HDR experience.

It is reported that domestic TV Hisense equipped with boe BD Cell display screen ultra-hd TV products will soon be on the market, let us wait and see.

In addition, boe also brought flexible screen products and interactive electronic whiteboard with maximum support of 40-point touch control and 4 multi-color active pens to write at the same time, making the writing experience more delicate and smooth~~~

HKC also brought display technology and innovative products in this exhibition. One is  Fission Cell display tchnology.The Fission Cell display technology will truly achieve double resolution, color saturation, color depth, and dynamic response rate.

In order to bring LCD display performance in line with OLED spontaneous light display, Fission Cell technology surpass the contrast ratio of current OLED (500000:1), and its color performance will also be improved compared with current OLED display, combined with dual-screen hybrid black plug technology, it can make up for the lack of response rate of previous LCD display, reach the same level as OLED, and its cost is much lower than OLED display of the same size,  becoming a cost-effective market choice.

Another product HKC showed is Wallpaper TV. The thickness of this wallpaper TV is only 6.9mm. It adopts a narrow frame design and an ultra-lightweight module design, so that the product presents a minimalist concept.Moreover, 4K ultra-clear display brings a high degree of reduction in movie-watching experience. No matter as motion wallpaper or domestic use TV, giving person incomparable aesthetic feeling.
